This is my first time posting on the forum. For some history im 19 years old and a sophomore in college. Ive been running since i was 9 years old, ran all through highschool both track and cross country. After high school i started training on my own training for marathons. Ive run three marathons with no success in any of them. Ive decided to train for shorter distances for a while. The problem is im not sure how to really train. Ive spent a good amount of time focusing on the marathon and marathon training im not sure how to train for 5k 10k or half marathons. So i thought to seek the wisdom of you kind people. I usually run about 80 to 90 miles per week. For marathon training i was running a long run two medium long runs a threshold workout and a vo2 max workout on the track. Im not sure where to start but so i will leave it up to anyone who wants to help to suggest type of workouts or appropriate mileage or anything. PR's include 3:50 marathon, 1:26 half, 40:01 10k, 18:24 5k, 5:14 mile and 59 400m. I would mostly like to improve my 5k,10k and half marathon.
