The R5K Racing Team is a team of runners and multi-sport athletes, from beginner to advanced levels of fitness.  The team is meant to motivate and help each other through training and racing. 

Practices will be held on Wednesday evenings in South Reno at Damonte Ranch High School or Depoali Middle School.  Practices start on April 4, 2012 and go through September 26, 2012.

Members will receive 75-90 minute training session each week for 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Marathon, R5K Racing Team Gear, Discounts at sponsor stores, Nutrition at each practice, discounts on sponsor products, free entry in to RENO 5000 5K or 10K events (at Races 1-4) and discounted rates on new DU RENO Series (Duathlon events).

2012 Team currently has 10 spots remaining.
