Konnor Van Worth

2011 R5K RACING TEAM

 

Konnor is 12 years old, from Carson City, Nevada.  He is a relatively new runner and triathlete.  His long-term goal is to complete the Ironman distance triathlon.  Joining the R5K Racing Team he feels will help him reach his running and multi-sport goals.

Konnor currently swims on the Carson Tigersharks swim team and is on the Carson Middle School Cross Country and Track & Field teams.

Past Accomplishments:

  • RENO 5000 X-C 8K @ ArrowCreek, January 2011:     1st Place 
  • RENO 5000 "Turkey Trot" 5K, November 2010:          1st Place 
  • Nevada Day 8K, October 2010:                                     1st Place 
  • 1 mile Goblin Run, October 2010:                                1st Place
  • Tri for Kids Championship, August 2010:                   3rd Place
  • Capitol City Kids Triathlon, June 2010:                       1st Place 


2011 Goals:
  • RENO 5000 5K Series 
  • TBF Triathlon Series 
  • RENO 5000 Firecracker Duathlon
  • RENO 5000 Championship event 

Konnor has completed a total of nine triathlon events and ten runs: two 8K's, seven 5K's and one 1 mile event.  He plans to compete in many more multi-sport and running events in 2011 and in his future.  Watch for Konnor Van Worth as one of the up and coming stars from the state of Nevada!
