“Run From The Recession” The First 5k Race Series To Pay Cash In All Categories!
Welcome to the RENO 5000 website. Our mission is to produce world-class events in Reno, NV. The RENO 5000 is dedicated to making safe, fun and enjoyable events for everyone. We understand how much training you do to perform at your best. We also understand that if you are new to running, how important it is to enjoy your first experience. The RENO 5000 is a series of events that gives everyone a chance to win, competing in a fresh and exciting new event!
Our events for 2010 include; The Inagural RENO 5000 "Run from the Recession" 5k event on September 4th, the RENO 5000 "Trick-or-Treat" 5k on October 30th and the RENO 5000 "Turkey Trot" 5k on November 20th.
In 2011, our focus will be on our 5k race series. Everyone can sign up for the RENO 5000, races 1 through 6. However, only the "Top 7" in each division will qualify for the Championship event; Race 7, in 2011. (Click HERE to find out "How To Qualify").
